Fabio Iraldo is full professor of Management at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa, where he directs the PhD in Innovation, Sustainability and Healthcare.
He is co-director of the SuM Laboratory – Sustainability Management of the Sant’Anna School, director of the Green Economy Observatory at Bocconi University and deputy director of the inter-university center CESISP (Circular Economy, Industrial Symbiosis and Product Sustainability) created by the Sant’Anna Institute of Management, the Genoa University and the Turin Polytechnic.
In his career, he has coordinated many projects on the issues of the circular economy and the environmental footprint, funded by the European Union under EU programs, such as the Life PREFER and Life EFFIGE projects. He was also a leading consultant for the European Commission in the evaluation process of Sustainable Production and Consumption policies which gave rise to the recent strategy Building the Single Market for Green Products and the Package of Measures on the Circular Economy. In 2006, he founded ERGO – Energies and Resources for the Organization Governance, the first spinoff company of the Scuola Sant’Anna in the business services sector.
He is the author of numerous articles on the role of businesses in sustainable development and of books such as Oltre il greenwashing (Edizioni Ambiente, 2020), Gestire i rischi da cambiamento climatico (FrancoAngeli, 2020) e Management dell’Economia Circolare (FrancoAngeli, 2020).
